NATURE WORKATION

Ikebana Workshop

With Blomstergården, Jan and Anne fulfilled a long-held dream. After a two-year renovation of this listed farmhouse in a UNESCO World Heritage ‘Wendland Round Village’, it became a source of inspiration for numerous new projects. In pilot programs, participants already experienced the power of Blomstergården’s nature–planting in the orchard meadow, foraging wild herbs, collecting mushrooms, or gathering around the campfire. Consistent feedback emphasized a great desire for programs focused on reconnecting with nature, exchanging ideas, and taking mindful breaks from the fast-paced world, inspiring the creation of our Nature Workation programs.

Discovering the artful world of Ikebana and letting creativity blossom.

Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of floral arrangement meaning "living flowers," originated in the 7th century when Buddhist priests used flowers as temple offerings. Emphasizing balance, proportion, and harmony, Ikebana is both an aesthetic expression and a meditative practice that promotes inner peace and mindfulness. In our Ikebana Workshop, you will learn to create harmony through the mindful arrangement of plants, deepening your connection with nature. This workshop fosters creativity, inner peace, and an appreciation for nature’s fleeting beauty. It’s ideal for those seeking a mindful practice, looking to unleash creativity and learn within an inspiring community. Nestled in nature and surrounded by diverse flower species, Blomstergården provides the perfect setting for discovering this art form. Let nature guide your expression through Ikebana!
